To celebrate the release of Ultimae’s brand new compilation, Greenosophy, they’ve made track #5, Cell‘s “Idea Spiral (Ozora Festival 2011 live edit)” available as a free download! The samples of all the tracks sound amazing! Cannot wait to get my hands on a copy. For this TofD, I will embed both the free track, as [...]

Track of the Day #039 – Seamoon – Beyond Physical Perceptions

Here’s a new EP from Altar Records, artist Seamoon’s DMTones.  Samples sound fantastic. Definitely an artist to keep a tab on.  Today’s track is called “Beyond Physical Perceptions.”

New Shulman Album: ALive!

Shulman has a special place in my heart. Their second album, In Search of a Meaningful Moment, is one of the of the albums directly responsible for my obsession with the genre. Track of the Day #038 – Omnimotion – Elves of Athoria

I recently picked up Omnimotion’s Dream Wide Awake. It’s been out for about 5 years now, and I must admit, I never gave it a far shot. And I don’t even know why, because it’s a damn fine album. Favorite tracks include: “Wide Awake” (with vocals by Krister Linder), “Cozy Life”, “Days of Silence”, and [...]

Track of the Day #037 – Pericles – Heart Cove

Track of the Day #036 – Solar Fields – When the Worlds Collide

Haven’t updated the site in awhile; due mostly to finals, but I’m back! Today’s track of the day is from the new Solar Fields album: Until We Meet The Sky. Track of the Day #035 – Krusseldorf – First Blood

Okay, so I can’t stop listening to Krusseldorf’s new album, From Soil to Space. It’s just as good, if not better than, Bohemian Groove.  I’m going to give the new album a few more listens before I can make that statement absolutely.  But for now, take my word for it, the album is outstanding.  Below is [...]

Track of the Day #034 – Ishq – Diving Into Sun

As I mentioned in Track of the Day #031 talking about Open System’s new album, Sanyasin, Ishq has a new album out, titled: And Awake.  Well, it’s been officially released!  Review relatively soon, I’d imagine.  Click here to purchase. To celebrate the release, here is track #2, “Diving Into Sun.” This is vintage Ishq.  It’s [...]

Track of the Day #033 – Kliment – Airfia

Another underappreciated artist in my opinion in Kliment.  His full-length album, The Perpetual Ritual, is a gem. Highly recommended. Here is “Airfia”, off a new compilation from Atmospheric Records, titled, Ethnoscapes. Kind of a different sound than The Perpetual Ritual, feels almost more Flooting Grooves-like.  I dig it though. Cheers!

Track of the Day #032 – Kukan Dub Lagan – Pink the Floyd Remix

It doesn’t get much groovier than this.  Here is Kukan Dub Lagan’s track, “Pink the Floyd Remix,” off the somewhat recently released Life Still Nice remix album.  I’ll admit I haven’t much listened to Kukan Dub Lagan’s music all that much.  It’s a bit too rasta for me on some songs, but this track is [...]
